Hi, I’m Mark

A tenacious, and energetic photographer who enjoys grabbing his camera and running out to take some photos.

In 2013, my mother was diagnosed with advanced cancer. I travelled 700 miles to see her each month for her last year. She had an amazing flower garden than hosted probably a hundred different varieties of flower.

I started cataloging the flowers with my cell phone and made her a picture book since she could no longer visit the flowers like she wanted. This book sat on her coffee table and was shared with friends and relatives when they would visit. I received many compliments on the work. Realizing there might be something beyond pride from a mother, I asked for opinion from a major pro photographer friend that was published. He told me my photos had merit; however, the quality of a cell phone was lacking. He suggested I purchase a DSLR (real camera) if I wanted to pursue this hobby into a business.

Mom left us that year. I grabbed onto her love of my work as a tool for grieving. Every day I venture to take one amazing photo in her memory. Maybe it will be of you or your family. Thank you in advance.
